Please contact the historic site at 660-827-0510 in advance for a group tour so that your needs may better be accommodated. Teachers guides are available to assist school groups planning a visit.
Minnesota state park tours take you underground, back in time, or into the future! Beginning April 1, 2015, you'll be able to reserve tickets for tours at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park and Soudan Underground Mine State Park.
Take an underground tour of the last and deepest underground mine at Soudan Underground Mine State Park, half a mile below the earth, or tour the underground high energy physics lab where physicists from around the world are trying to answer questions about the universe. Or take a caving tour of Minnesota's longest cave at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park, and check out cave formations and underground pools and passages.
