Bothwell Lodge Historic Site Tours

Tour admission fees vary depending on age, from free to $4. Tours take approximately an hour and a half. There is no heating or cooling on the tour; please dress accordingly. The tour involves 200+ stairs. No pets are allowed inside the Lodge or in any of the buildings. With a commanding view from atop a bluff, Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site is one of the best representations of early 20th Century sensibilities in the Midwest. Walk through the 31-room, 12,000-square-foot lodge built atop two natural caves by Sedalia lawyer John Homer Bothwell. Please contact the historic site at 660-827-0510 in advance for a group tour so that your needs may better be accommodated. Teachers guides are available to assist school groups planning a visit.
