First Day Hike- Trail of Tears - 2025 First Day Hike

Join us on January 1st at 12:30pm for our 2025 First Day Hike! We will meet up in the Lake Boutin parking lot and carpool, if needed, to the Yellow (East Loop) Peewah Trailhead. This trail a is rugged 3.2mile loop with natural ground, rocks, and roots with opportunities to look out over the Mississippi River. Average hike time ranges from 2.5-3hrs. Sturdy hiking shoes, ample outerwear, a snack, and water are recommended. Recommended hiking age is 12+ and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
